The Aruba 580 Series Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) high-performance outdoor access points are fully weather-proofed (IP66/IP67 rated) and extreme temperature-hardened (-40°C to +65°C) to deliver ultra-high-density, multi-gigabit wireless connectivity in extreme enterprise outdoor environments such as stadiums, venues, campuses, and industrial sites.

Management Platforms & Software
ArubaOS (Controller-Managed): Compatible with Aruba Mobility Controllers running ArubaOS 8.10.0.0 or higher.
Aruba Instant & Central: Compatible with cloud-managed or controllerless deployments via Aruba Central or local Instant OS (8.10.0.0+).
Security & Authentication: Supports WPA3 (Enterprise & Personal), WPA2, Enhanced Open (OWE), WPA-NIST192, and Passpoint® (Release 2).
Network & Infrastructure Interfaces
Primary Ethernet Interface (E0): 1x 100/1000/2.5G/5GBASE-T Smart Rate RJ-45 port with IEEE 802.3bt/802.3at Power over Ethernet (PoE) support.
Secondary Optical Interface (E1): 1x 10GBASE-R SFP+ port for high-speed long-distance optical fiber backhaul connection.
Tertiary Ethernet Interface (E2): 1x 10/100/1000BASE-T Ethernet port for local network passthrough or device bridging.
High-Power IoT Integration: Integrated high-power Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE 5.0) and Zigbee (802.15.4) radios with Advanced IoT Coexistence (AIC) filtering.
Power Sourcing Equipment (PSE): Capable of supplying 802.3af PoE out (PSE) to downstream devices when powered via direct AC or 802.3bt Class 6 power.
